One of the newest High Courts in India is the Chhattisgarh High Court (Hindi: छत्तीसगढ़ उच्च न्यायालय). Under the Madhya Pradesh Reorganizations Act of 2000, it was founded on November 1st, 2000, as a distinct High Court for the recently formed State of Chhattisgarh, with jurisdiction over its territory.
